Privacy Policy

How Rouviere Mediation collects, uses, and protects information you share with us through this website or by contacting our office.

Last updated: May 2026 · Rouviere Mediation

Rouviere Mediation (“we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information when you visit rouvieremediation.com or contact our office. By using this website, you agree to the practices described below.

Information We Collect

We collect two general categories of information:

Information You Provide

When you submit our contact form, request a mediation, call our office, or send us an email, you may provide:

  • Your name, email address, phone number, and physical address
  • Information about your matter or inquiry
  • Information about other parties to your dispute (such as their names and counsel)
  • Any documents or attachments you choose to share
  • Your preferred method and time of contact

Information Collected Automatically

When you browse our website, our hosting provider and analytics tools may automatically log:

  • Your IP address, browser type, device type, and operating system
  • Pages visited, time spent on pages, and referring website
  • Approximate geographic location based on IP address
  • Cookies and similar technologies used to improve site functionality

How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect for the following purposes:

  • To respond to your inquiries and provide requested information about mediation services
  • To evaluate whether mediation is appropriate for your matter and conduct conflict-of-interest checks
  • To communicate with you and other parties about scheduling and logistics if mediation is engaged
  • To improve the content, functionality, and security of our website
  • To comply with legal obligations and the Florida Rules for Certified and Court-Appointed Mediators

Confidentiality and the Mediator Relationship

Submitting information through this website does not create a mediator-party relationship. Andre A. Rouviere cannot serve as your mediator until a conflict-of-interest check has been completed, all parties have agreed to mediation, and the engagement terms have been confirmed in writing. Until that occurs, information you send us is not protected by mediation confidentiality under Florida Statutes Chapter 44 or related law.

Once a mediation is engaged, communications and disclosures made during the mediation are protected from disclosure as provided by Florida Statutes §44.405 and the Florida Rules for Certified and Court-Appointed Mediators. Please do not send sensitive or time-critical information through this website without first speaking with us by phone.

How We Share Information

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We may share information only in the following limited circumstances:

  • With service providers who help us operate the website, email, or scheduling systems, under confidentiality obligations
  • With other parties to your mediation, with your consent, to facilitate the process
  • When required by law, court order, subpoena, or by the Florida Dispute Resolution Center
  • To protect the rights, property, or safety of our office, our clients, or others

Cookies and Tracking

Our website uses cookies and similar technologies to remember your preferences, analyze traffic patterns, and improve site performance. You can disable cookies in your browser settings, but some site features may not work properly without them. We do not use cookies to track you across other websites for advertising purposes.

Data Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect the information you provide. However, no website or email transmission is completely secure. You acknowledge that any information you submit electronically is at your own risk, and we cannot guarantee absolute security against unauthorized access or breach.

Third-Party Links

Our website may contain links to third-party sites such as Google reviews, the Florida Dispute Resolution Center, the Florida Bar, or directories listing certified mediators. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of those third-party sites. We encourage you to review their privacy policies before submitting information to them.

Children’s Privacy

This website is not directed to children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe we have collected information from a child, please contact us so we can delete it.

Your Choices

You may contact us at any time to request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information we hold about you. Note that we may need to retain certain records for ethical, legal, or mediator certification compliance reasons even after a deletion request.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of this website after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.
